What opportunities will sponsor firms have to interact with competition participants?

Depending on sponsorship level, firms can create their own unique points of contact with participants. Representative participant interactions include: hosting a signature competition-wide event, access to a reserved table at a career fair style event, advanced access to the student resume book, representation on panel discussions, and more. Sponsors at all levels will have their logos displayed on all competition documents and will be able to include a company summary in the student competition packet.

How will sponsorship money be used?

The UChicago Midwest Trading Competition is a self-funded competition. We rely on sponsorship dollars to help us fund the competition. Sponsor firms’ contributions will go toward participant travel costs, hotel costs, room rental costs, catering, photography, marketing materials, and, most importantly, prize money. Last year, we offered over $15,000 in prize money and this helps attract top student talent to the competition.
