Applicants must be undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university. Applicants must register in teams of three to four members, and at least one team member must be able program in C++ and/or Python.
With the live PNL updates and the energetic atmosphere, the competition was exciting to be at, and it was rewarding to see our algorithms at work.

Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot in the competition. A confirmation email will be sent to indicate acceptance into the competition. Registration for the event will close Wednesday January 15th, 2018.
When making travel arrangements, all students should plan to arrive in Chicago before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13th. A mandatory kick-off event at Optiver will take place on Friday afternoon. Participants should plan on staying through Saturday evening as the winners will be treated to dinner by DRW.
Note: For UChicago applicants, space is limited and priority will be given to students in the Financial Markets Program. We will review and consider the applications of all other UChicago students as space permits.
